How do you turn up the brightness on a windows xp computer? :/ my screen is almost black so I can hardly see anything.
On the monitor, there should be some buttons below the screen (the outer edges of the monitor). Mess with those buttons around and I'm almost positive there will be a brightness changer on it. Just turn it up or down, whatever fits your preferences.
It also doesn't hurt to degauss your monitor once in a while.
It's a laptop.
Check your laptop manual. You could also check the power settings in the windows control panel.
yeah turns out it was just really low on battery because the recharger wasn't properly plugged in. :/ I told you it was a stupid question.

I can force the brightness on my laptop up even if the battery's low if I want to using the Fn+brightness buttons Or down when on full power, e.g. if I'm using it in a dark room and the screen's too bright on my eyes as the only light source :kaoplain:
