No, I left the dungeon to get Lunar Curtains.
Equip all of Kain's best equipment, stick him in the back row, and Imput the jump command when Mega Flare hits "2" , otherwise you get nuked. Lunar curtains are too risky, and this strategy is fullproof. But if you like danger, you can try that I suppose...![]()
(Back row is so his counter attack does maybe a hundred damage)
How are Lunar Curtains risky? Just be sure to watch Kain's status, and as soon as one wears off use the second one. Certainly no more risky than trying to time your Jumps.
Boy am I an unfunny ass.
Well, you don't know when they'll wear off will you? (or if you can, I never knew how.) But when done right, you cannot lose doing jump timing, as long as you imput the jump command at "2".![]()

If you have Reflect on a character and you use an item (say, a Hi-Potion), when you go to choose the character to use it on, it will show who has the "Reflect" status in the lower right. Just check each turn to see if Kain still has it, and if he doens't use another Lunar Curtain.

Don't give up!
Jump when the countdown hits 2.
EDIT: I just switched to defaul skin, and damn that yellow looks ugly.

Oh, well I never knew that. I guess it wasn't in the original.. (checking statuses..)Originally Posted by Rase

Duh. I beat Lunar Odin level 45 with jump. GO ME.
I guess the point to my boasting was that anything can be defeated with jump.
