Something just happened to my game. I was in a battle with Tiamat and everything went a gray-ish color. A gray box went around every part of the text on the screen and the words inside the boxes cant even be read. I thought maybe it was just my game during the battle. But I finished the battle and my entire menu is like this.

Should I clean the disc? (Its brand new) This also happened on another FF8 disc I had a few years back. So, I know its not just this one. Could it be my TV? No other games have done this on my TV. Just FF8.

Has this happened to anyone else? I dont know how to do screen-shots, otherwise I would just post and show you what Im talking about.

Quick help would be nice. I need to beat Ulitmecia again!
