I've never heard of the game, but it's clearly very old if you need to run it in 256 colour mode.

Only thing I can suggest is running it in 'Compatibilty Mode.'

Browse to where the programs EXE file is and Right Click it. From the menu select Properties and then the Compatibilty tab on the next screen.

Check the Run this program in compatibilty mode box and select Win'95 or '98. Click ok and try running the program again.

If that dosn't work you can try using a boot disk to get to a DOS prompt and running the program from there. But if I remember correctly you'll only be able to access anything if the hard drive is formatted with the Fat32 file system. But i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
