Both the Defender and the Fat Bandit do not drop the Protera Chain sooo...
The answer is A and C
That's not what it says on the frontsite (although I'll be the first to tell you that our KH section needs an overhaul to weed out the extreme problem of inaccuracy). I just wish other websites provided a Bestiary to confirm it (my cousin stole my Strategy Guide).
Unless you provide some form of proof, I'll consider the question unfair (I wasn't exactly thinking clearly this morning). However, if you do attempt to challenge me, and if you are wrong, then you lose your turn. Alternatively, you can decide to skip this entire mess and ask for a new question.
Although I do seem to remember me getting a Protera Chain from a Defender once, thinking it was a Protega Chain and going berserk because I'm extremely cheap and don't update my Accessories.
I decided to look it up and...

Sorceror, because their attacks cannot be countered.
Also, Sorcerors don't actually attack you, those floating cubes do.
