You defeat Ruby Weapon outside the Gold Saucer, but that doesnt get you the chocobo it gets the desert Rose. Give the desert Rose to the man in Kalm and he will give you a Gold Chocobo. the word opportunity is slightly confusing

yes and you're correct, although opportunity may be confusing, there is only 1 way to get a golden chocobo 'without' breeding, and that was the key part to the question.

i dont really understand do President shinra, Ifalna, Gast, Tifas father, Zack, Budenhagen, Lucrecia, Sephiroth?, Jenova?do Scarlet, Heidegger, palmer die? count? is this taking into account ACs revelations, ie Rufus not dead. Does Cait sith technically "die?"

I'm afraid I've said that important people, ifalna, gast, tifa's father, zack, bugenhagen, lucrecia aren't important as much to the storyline, besides, tifa's father, zack, gast and ifalna did not die during gameplay. The rest is up to you to figure out, it's a question of your knowledge for FF, not mine. Lucrecia did not die, there is no hard proof that Sephiroth died either, bugenhagen was merely a helper amongst the characters, as was Jesse etc. When I say their names live on through the game, I mean stimutaniously, not a name that just pops up every few hours.

Wrong, sorry, the answer is 3. President Shinra died during gameplay (the storyline) and his company is what you were fighting against throughout the whole game, the founder of Shinra. Aeris dies yep. But Cait Sith does die. Although the personality of Cait Sith doesn't die. There is a Cait Sith 1, and Cait Sith 2, even himself points this out after the death of the first one. Therefore, he still died but was revived

what is the destruction of shinra? is that when president shinra dies or is that when diamond weapon attacks midgar and destroys most of shinra.
