I only used one character, (Cloud level 80 something) and loaded him down with all my best Materia. It took me a couple of trys (about 40 :P) But eventually it worked.

He's easy if you know how to beat him. Also, you could of cast hades on him.

Try and use Knights Of The Round Table.

He has a very high defense, Knights of the Round only dealt like 1000-2000 points of damage on each hit.

Slow her, blind her, paralyze her. Hero Drinks help out slightly. Kill the other two in your party. Engage then revive once his arms are in the ground. Omni Slash and mime. Let the other two back up when needed. Also have all mostly the attacker under Fury, it really helps.

-Counter(Mastered) + Mime
-KOTOR+HP Absorb
-HP Plus
-Magic Plus
Have 2 characters alive. Your main person at 9,999 health and the other with very low health. Let Ruby kill one of them while Cloud(or your main person of choice) uses KOTR. After that, Ruby will hit you again thus making your health very low. Use Mime and it'll copy KOTR and bring back a ton of health to fully heal yourself. Whenever he attacks again, you'll counter it with Mime which is KOTR which also heals you.
