Though I can't say why, this made me laugh harder than anything else has today.

    To the thread starter.

You can randomly find a few summons: Imp, Cockatrice, and Bomb.

I've found Imp a few times just fighting in the plains (never the woods) by Mt. Ordeals. And I found Cockatrice once, fighting in the same place. I've never found bomb, but they say you just randomly pick it up from fighting enemies of the bomb type. I believe that to be true, so I am currently tracking down all the bombs I can.

Anyone know where a good place for bombs is?

    And now:

    You should've responded like so:

Oh, and I am having trouble getting Sylph. I went to Sylvan cave and talked to the sylphs just like always, and they don't teach Rydia Sylph. They just say "Oh wow, Humans!" and "Don't take Yang away" and things like that. I've beaten Asura and Leviathan. So why won't they help a brotha out?

It may be because you've already done the giant of babel. If I'm not mistaken, you can't get sylph (or the spoon/cleaver) , after Yang recovers. But I could be wrong

Or if you haven't gone to the moon yet, you'll need to talk to Yang's wife in Fabul. She'll give you the frying pan to "wake up" Yang, provided you spoke with him at the Sylph's house like you said. (You'll have to walk through the sylph cave again.)

    Hope that helps

I'm pretty sure you can just go and get the Sylph summon after facing the Giant of Babel, if you didn't get it before hand. However, you won't be able to get the Spoon Dagger.
Boy am I an unfunny ass.

When you smack Yang with the frying pan, he'll want to go with you, but the Sylph won't let him cause he needs to recover, so they offer to help you instead..... SO, you need the frying pan.

There's another Summon that is missing: Mind Flayer. You get it the same way as you do Goblin, Cockatrice, and Bomb. The Mind Flayer summon can be gotten off of Mist Krakens (found in Rydia's trial in the Lunar Ruins) and Mind Flayers (found in the Magnetic Cavern).
