    The video doesn't seem to work for people outside the U.S., but can I assume this is where the American fell before the last jump and lost the gold because of it?

    It isn't only that she fell, but she fell after doing a trick when she didn't need to. It's pretty sad, actually... it was a her chance to make history as the first woman to win gold in the Olympic snowboard cross, but she lost it showboating.

    Hey, I was watching and I was well aware of what happened, but being Canadian I was more dissapointed by both of our snowboarders falling farther up, especially when they both did so well in the semifinals. It's a shame the American screwed up, but at the end of the day, her losing the gold doesn't really bother me.
