Anime Video Games

What ANime do you think would make a good video game and what KInd.

I think GetBackers could make a good RPG game that plays like FF. You get a variety of characters for your party, and they have unique powers that would make a very varied party between Ginji, Ban, Shido, Kazuki, and Himiko. You're also given a veriaty of encouters that could be in the levels. Such as renagade cops for the first episode, street thugs for the second, the 3-5 normal encouters could be a little wierd ot figure out though. Even if it didn't follow the story of the Anime using those characters could still be quite a fun play.

I think I remember something like this happen. Bandai thought it would be cool if they made an RPG based on Inuyasha. You get a party, and encounters, and leveling up. And it turned out to be a small little below-average title.

Naurto Ninja Taisen, that game was awesome as a fighting game, it was fanservice and deep enough to play.

In general, I've found RPGs based off anime suck Or even games in general that are based on an anime And yes, there's actually quite a lot of them if you look hard enough Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow on the Gameboy and Magic Knight Rayearth on the SNES are the only exceptions I can think of at the moment

I dont think you can say Pokemon was spawned off the anime since games came out first...at least i THINK it was in japan..

Anime games tend to suck lots =/ .hack wasn't bad though, as it was continuing the story and not going through the same thing...

I liked the MKR SNES game. Not hard, but I dare you to point me to one RPG that has super tough battles(don't really(there has to be some, but the point is I can breeze through just about any RPG I have played(hardest likely beating PE and all it's quests)).

There was also Tenchi SRPG that was pretty fun. Though very easy... and not as exciting as the MKR SNES game, imo.

Bobobo-Bobo-Bobo would make one hilarous game. You wouldn't have a clue what's going on, but you'd burst your gut laughing.

For a serious game, not a cheap 2:5 game with a name thrown in, Eva. It'd probably be really short, what with only like 13 boss fights. But the story is great.
Or Secrets of the Lodoss War, it's kinda like watching an RPG.

Some are good, like Tenchi Muyio RPG on super, extremely short and easy, but still fun.
