I like FFVII's.
I enjoy VI's music and since I have done NUMEROUS playthroughs and challenge's I Can't imagine what some of those playthroughs would have been like without decent battle music.
Noone can clearly see what I truly am nor can they see what I am not. In this I am the greatest of mysteries and noone has yet been able to solve it. If you see me you haven't seen me. If you don't see me then you might have just seen me. And in the end you are all left to wonder if I actually existed at all or if i was simply a trick played upon your feeble minds.

FFTactics intrigueing battle themes are the best anywhere. Plain and simple.

But FFIX's music comes a close second, with IIIj in third.

Rubedo: As for boss-battle theme, it would HAVE to be FFVI. Dancing Mad is brilliant.
i liked all of the ones between Final Fantasy VIII - Final Fantasy XI. the best of them:
Final Fantasy IX...if one got stuck in my head, this will.
Final Fantasy X...sounds a lot like action music.
Final Fantasy XI...there's several, but i like them all.
Final Fantasy VIII...it always has an epic sound to it.

But I like the normal battle music of FF10.

FFIX's battle theme is one of my favorite Final Fantasy songs ever. I loved it, and I frequently listen to it.
I admit it...it's VIII
I hope they bring back those kinds of songs in FFXIII, man can't wait. What I'm I talking 'bout..................just staring at FFXIII with PS3 graphics is enough, smurf the music:evilking:
I'll have to say FFI's battle theme was my favorite. It was the first FF that I played (well, I actually watched my older sister play it when it first came out), and I remember loving the battle theme. Although, in my mind, the battle theme is not complete without the sound effects of one of the warriors slashing his sword, or one of the warriors getting hit, or the funky sound that plays when a mage casts a spell. Ahhh.. the good 'ole days.
I actually like a lot of the battle themes. I remember loving the one in FFX, and FFIV's can easily get stuck in my head. FFVII's is pretty good, along with FFVIII's. I also liked FFII's.
I can't think of anything witty to put here. I've always had trouble with these signature things. :mog:
