I think he;s just pointing out the gimmick Gackt uses. I doubt gackt puts on dresses because he likes to. HE does it for the cash. Sure you can say no because its Jrock but the music industry in Japan is based on money also. I mean Gackt would still be awesome if he just focused his time on music and not dressing up in gimmicks. THat goes for a lot of bands around the world, but hey. Gimmicks make money.

yeah, that pic above is just...*shivers*. anywho, Gackt is Jpop I belive. I haven't heard his music since I moved(last June) so it is either that or Jrock. Dir en Grey rocks the Jrock! yep, Gackt is that awesome Obsidian. The Gundam series rocks also!

Well, that's a rumor that hasn't been officially confirmed. As far as I know, Squall's looks and hair were based off of River Phoenix, at least I have heard that more than the Gackt connection.

I admit that he has pretty decent music, although I feel dirty inside for even uttering such a phrase.

That being said the man scares me. From all of the pictures and crap that I've been shown by my Gackt-loving friends, he just gives me the creeps. While I realize that the J-Rocker style is for a specific purpose and all that, I get the feeling that with him he actually does enjoy looking very very pretty.

I cannot even count the number of times my friends have done the "guy Gackt girl Gackt" game which involves flipping a magazine page over to reveal Gackt looking (more or less) like a man and Gackt looking like a woman.
