Neither of them really do much at all. The Save the Queen sword cannot be equipped to anyone, but it does give you a slightly longer ending. It's not worth it.

i think it's the hammer that gives a slightly longer ending,not the save the queen.

According to Gamefaqs:
The hammer gives a slightly longer ending the Save the Queen gives a second ending. Supposedly neither do anything special.
Also it stated that the Hammer was got in the Stellazzio quest.
