Anyone ? I hear the phrase used occassionally to denote a particular genre of music - I think it's rap, but nobody told me what it actually is like.

Music that has Techno, Jump, Hip-Hop and a little mix of R&B beats mix into it and done!
Correct me if I'm wrong though. I'm not sure myself.
Music like Presidential, I SMoke I Drank are Crunk music.
I know it because I like Crunk music myself.

Its a southern style of rap music, its very uptempo, you will hear it alot in clubs, crunk itself means to like "get hype". Lil John and the Eastside Boyz, Dem Franchize Boyz, David Banner, Crime Mob, are a few of the acts associated with it. If your interested I suggest seeing the movie Hustle and Flow.

That lil john guy is so smart from making a VERY profitable living from saying "OOOOOKAY!" and "WhhhhAT!"
Yeah, he's being very self-deprecating with the use of the slang " lil" before his name. You'd think being such a superstar he would change it to " Big " or " Moderately Sized. " .... Moderately Sized Jon hahahahahaha.
It's a kind of R&B that I think Lil' John came up with? Artists as Ciara and Usher have also been a part of making it popular.
half crap and half junk?
