My name got changed in occasion to the election, but when the election is over and the names are switched back is it possibly to use this gap as a loophole to get a name change? I know six months haven't gone by yet, but what difference does it make if it gets changed back to "Mandinka" or a new nick.

Unless you're changing it back to 'Chris' then I can't see it happening - otherwise people would be changing many many times a year when we do things like this.

I'll allow that, only because I think Mandinka was a very silly name to change to after spending so long with a name that, while simple, works well for you.
