Firefox wants to push the 'left' cursor key for me

This only happens on Firefox. As I type, it will periodically hit the left key, but the keyboard is clearly not ghosting the key physically. USB keyboard. When keyboard is plugged in, the laptop is doing the same thing.

Uninstall the keyboard drivers. Use the default XP ones and see if it does the same thing.

XP is pretty good with drivers. I was supposed to install one with my mouse off some floppy disks, but did I? of course not.
