My fav was the Legend of Zelda. It was a free roaming world with lots to explore and it had a battery save for crying out loud! Only game I've ever played in the last 25 years where I actually stood up and jumped around after beating it.
Parodius..... I think that was the only non-super nes ness nessssss game I played.
