I need help survivng all the way through the battle wit Llednar.
My Marche is level 24 and has masterd the fighter job which I am using.
I keep lasting 2 turns the he uses that spell thing-a-majig and I die. When does cid arrive. Do i have to beat Llednar then Cid will come in a cutscene or what. Please help

you just have to survive i dont remember for how long but do you have any other abilities like white magic or something ??

How bad do you think I'll need that ability. If I need it bad I'll start over again .

its not that necesary but its handy to have healing abilities. well you probably have soldier techs as second command right ?? well then you should just get as far away from llednar as possible and stay as far away possible

you dont need to start over again that would be to troublesome its doable just keep trying

I sent one of my men on a mission and he came back with excalibur an I was like waaahh
When I fought Llednar I used X-Potion once and then Cid showed up so it wasnt a long wait. It just took 4 turns

Beating Llednar in that mission is simple. Equip Damage to MP as Marche's Support Ability. Even if Llednar does enough damage to kill Marche with one hit with Omega, Damage to MP will make it go to his MP. And since MP regenerates 5 MP every turn, and Llednar is the only enemy there, it makes Marche invincible for that battle.

Damage to MP is a Blue Mage ability, so it might take a while to learn, but it is definitely the easiest way to survive that battle.

Another easy way(This worked for me):
1.Change Marche's Job to Theif.

2.Steal Llednar's SaveTheQueen.This will get you a weapon and an advantage: His weapon is gone so that his attack is lowered.

3.Go right in front of him so his attack percentage is lowered(hitting from side or behind has increased accuracy by 25%-50% even if he uses Abyss or Omega).Your high Theif evade stats should be another bonus for his attack to miss. Use X-potions to heal damage(if any).

4.Last 4-5 turns and Cid will show up and you clear the mission.

Just ask him what a Biskmatar is and he'll be too busy trying to come up with an explanation to attack.

Change your Character's class to Paliden and then use fighter as your secondary skill, Palidens are alot stronger, theres no reason to stay on the weaker class if you already have it mastered. If that doesn't work, do some clan battles to get your level up.

As far as I know Fighter is stronger and Paladin has higher defense.

the way I see it paladin has better weapon damage and higher imapct abilities

but then again fighters have air render....

not sure which is better fighters early game but once you have excalibur and maybe mastered double sword you should probly go paladin

But Marche can learn Holy Blade if he's a Paladin!

holyu blade is irrelivent if youve mastered double sword since 2 hits from excalibu is more then holy blade and doesnt use mana
