I'm sure lots of us have boyfriends, but that doesn't mean we can't think Tidas is hot. Everyone here knows he isn't real, that's not the point. It's the same as reading a book with a dashing hero and thinking, "gee, he's cool!". It's just an idle passtime; I hardly think anyone here is getting upset over not recieving replies to their Tidas fanmail. So if people talking about the hotness of a video game character bugs you, then why would you even open up this thread? If I see a thread that looks dumb to me, I just don't read it.

Of all the playable male characters in FFX I found Tidus to be the least attractive. I didn't find him hideous...just unattractive.

Oh lol I have no problem with Tidas bashing- that's not what I took issue with. And I never said you can't look at a thread, I just don't see why you would read a thread that was obviously about a topic you find uninteresting and silly. And I guess I just don't understand why you find the fact that someone might think a fictional character is hot so distasteful. I think it's perfectly understandable if you personally don't consider fictional characters appropriate objects of affection, but you're very bluntly implying that doing so is wierd and immature- as in your previous comment of "try dating" or something like that.
