Not that type of violence, the players tackle extremely rough and hack alot, that's what I'm saying, they could still get the ball even if they were gentler, the problem is they seem to enjoy it, if only I could get away with stuff like that.

LET THE HAMMER FALL
I don't think that Liverpool would foul or play rough unless they were losing -- most teams won't, because they don't need to. That said, I don't think Liverpool will be losing either.![]()
Of course, Liverpool fans could use a few lessons on respect and the like. Chelsea fans haven't been too great either.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
Liverpool have some big tough players such as Crouch, maybe great footballers but they'd pwn at Rugby too, if Liverpool score it better be him because he deserves a few more goals. Liverpool are bloody tanks man, they tackle hard and charge hard even if they're winning.
LET THE HAMMER FALL
I obviously havn't seen the same Peter Crouch you have. A toddler could take out Peter Crouch, he's as soft as ice cream! The only reason he usually gets pulled up for a foul is when the ball's coming into the box, and ref's penalise him because of his height.Originally Posted by Bladen
I also wouldn't agree that Liverpool are a physical team either. Look at Blackburn for what I would say is a physical side. We close down players and get men behind the ball and defend as a team, but the players don't go flying into tackle's, like your making out.
Look at the stats on the BBC's site. Only one of our player's has more than 5 yellow cards for the season.
Just because a player avoids a yellow cards doesn't make them clean, Crouch maybe soft but he's a big guy, players struggle against him and if he tries to get the ball of someone even if he's soft his sheer size and long legs can easily get the ball. Yellow cards aren't a measurement of how rough a player can be.
LET THE HAMMER FALL
Crouch is not rough; he's such a nice, good-tempered guy. Like NM said, it's his height that gets him into trouble during free-kicks and corners and the like. If you're speaking stats-wise, too, Newcastle have one more red card than Liverpool do, and I shouldn't even consider Reina a red-card.Originally Posted by Bladen
Great game against Charlton.Hleb was uber-god, and it was great to see RvP back again. Now if only Tottenham lose....joy...
It's his size that can be used against him too, it;s also a disadvantageas a small lunge for a ball to him could be terrible if it fails, But Jermaine Jenas isn't even in Newcastle anymore!!! Crouch wouldn't hurt anyone intentionally but like I said when he gets rough it aint intentional to him but referees these days are paid so much by managers they foul the opposite team even if the other guy trips, yellow and red cards aren't a measuring of aggression. One thing I would like to see, Bellamy vs Rooney, that's very, very rough. Bowyer just thinks he;s cool because he played for Leeds once.
LET THE HAMMER FALL
If he gets rough, and the referees mistake his actions for a foul, then why would it matter to you?I think Bellamy would come out on tops over Rooney; he's more consistent (especially of late). Rooney's got good internationals, and he had a good Newcastle match -- but it was made easy for him at Newcastle! Bellamy's been playing brilliantly, match after match.
Glenn should bring him back if he knows what's good for the team, I'm sure he'd be forgiven, well Souness old the people who questioned him or knew he sucked.
The thing is Crouch maybe a bit rough but players like Gerrard are extremely physical when attacking someone who has the ball, I remember earlier in the season around September time he alone smashed a few opposing players, if the refs knew not to take bribes then we'd have fair games. You're right Bellamy could rip Rooney apart.
BTW: Ruud Van Nistelroy killed the Feedback forum.

Can't wait to see the highlights of West Ham - Portsmouth tonight.![]()
"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."
Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.
I reckon you're being rather harsh on refs, Bald-en.
Souness was an idiot to let him go; but we've established that long ago. Now, Newcastle should really get rid of Freddie Shepherd -- he's unpleasant and seemingly incapable of getting a manager that stays in. Then Shearer -- HORRIBLE. Let him GO.
Edit: I laugh at Pardew. I gloat at him.
But Shearer has scored so many goals and has some left in him, he's a hero here and local, your precious Henry is foreign and foreign players spoil the sport.
The problem is who can get rid of fat freddy?
LET THE HAMMER FALL
FOREIGN PLaYERS SPOIL THE SPORT??!?!?! You invoke my wrath, Bald-en.
Henry is one of the most brilliant players in the EPL ever, and let's face it -- without foreign players I don't think there'd be much of an interesting sport! The top two scorers in the League, may I remind, are both 'foreign'? (Henry and Horse) People ENJOY watching Henry. Shearer has scored many goals -- in the past. Time's up, now. He's not even in the top 15 scorers of the League at the moment.
Someone needs to. Desperately. Maybe the Queen could...?
But the Alan Shearer in the past has scored more extraordinary goals within the last 4 seasons. I found this AMV with his top 10 throughout his NUFC career, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0SLW...Alan%20Shearer .
Come on Resha, Arsenal is almost all French, hardly any English players in their starting 11 these days, Speaking of which Chelsea are bad for this too, This the EPL not the World Premier League.
