Dude, you can't take me off your Christmas list. :weep:
The match was one sided, yes. We played appaulingly, except Given. He really was our saviour today.

i reckon we should have goal of the week competition.
I vote for Camara's goal for Wigan
...Geddit?
Parker, Solano, Emre and Given were the ones who saved the match from a bigger defeat, the 2nd half was equally sided IMO.
LET THE HAMMER FALL
The dodgy (yet hilarious) sending off aside, we thoroughly deserved to win yesterday. In the end, justice was done just as it was at Anfield last time our teams met. I'd make a jibe about Stevie's defence-splitting through ball to Henry, but to make fun of a player who is otherwise so totally brilliant would be petty. I have to say that Liverpool didn't look themselves though, and that their exit from Europe may have long-term consequences for the team.
As for Newcastle, losing to United is hardly a disappointment, particularly considering that it hasn't been long since Souness the Destroyer left. Next season, with a good manager under you, you'll be right as rain (which isn't very right at all, come to think of it...oh well).

It was better than the first half, sure but equally sided is such a gross overstatement. The only things that saved you lot then was Given and Saha kicking all his shots wise. I saw plenty of times when he was this close to scoring, and so was Nistelrooy, who had a darn good attempt literally as soon as he came on. But to give you lot some credit, you didn't completely play in pieces the second half, like you gone done in the first. :rolleyes2Originally Posted by Bladen

ROFL, what is the bloody point in that?

Here's an interesting philosophical question: Who would you rather have in your team, Kleberson, Eric Djemba-Djemba or Darren Fletcher?
I don't know the first one, but of the last two it all depends on how good their last game was. If their last game was good, I wouldn't pick them. If it was bad, I would. They're that inconsistent that after a bad game you'd expect them to play well.

Kleberson isn't actually a bad player, just injuries & wrong team for wrong player syndrome (happened to Viera at Milan & Bergkamp at Internazionale).Originally Posted by Psychotic

Djemba...I've no defence.
Fletcher is like Djimi Traore. They try as hard as they can, but they simply don't have the skill. Why is it that skillful players don't give a toss, and crap players do?
At least Darren Fletcher nabbed that goal against Chelsea to put them off their unbeaten run. For that, he shall always have a place in my heart. Besides, as long as they don't play for your team, crap players are pretty entertaining. Diego Forlan is perhaps the only Manchester United player that I haven't wanted to kick in the neck.

Is that for real? If it is, then good job. The more of Glazer's money they waste the better.Originally Posted by Loony BoB
