The dodgy (yet hilarious) sending off aside, we thoroughly deserved to win yesterday. In the end, justice was done just as it was at Anfield last time our teams met. I'd make a jibe about Stevie's defence-splitting through ball to Henry, but to make fun of a player who is otherwise so totally brilliant would be petty. I have to say that Liverpool didn't look themselves though, and that their exit from Europe may have long-term consequences for the team.

As for Newcastle, losing to United is hardly a disappointment, particularly considering that it hasn't been long since Souness the Destroyer left. Next season, with a good manager under you, you'll be right as rain (which isn't very right at all, come to think of it...oh well).
