It's nice to see that there's something resembling competition at the top of the table now. If Chelsea's poor form continues it could go right down to the wire, and with three or four teams all within sight of the last Champions' League spot there's still a lot to play for in the top half.

Of course, the real dogfight is going on in the relegation zone. While it may not be as intense as last season's four-way tussle, it still looks like it'll be an exciting, unpredictable race to avoid the drop. Personally I think Portsmouth are looking like the most likely survivors, considering they're the form team at the moment, and have more home games remaining than the other two.
