I agree, in the old games you get to hear a better sound in his native Configuration, also, I love old School games![]()
It depends what type of TV you have. I've always played playstation with an old TV with only one speaker, so naturally I set the music to 'mono'. Just a couple of weeks ago I got a new TV (yay!!!) and it has the extra plug for the red cable in the back and it has two good quality speakers. So I now set the mode to 'stereo'.
The bottom line, once you go STEREO, there's no turning back![]()
...stereo. i can also pick mono, but it won't make a difference either way.
Good, I also think there's no back for Stereo, but still... the native sound gets me drive for old games, but stereo still takes a clap actually
Stereo has a more "solid" sound to it....but mono exposes some other sounds....more on the treble side. Both are good if you ask me, but I go with stereo. I WISH they had Dolby Surround sound... =( ...Wait I think they do...but in FMVs..........hmmm on PS3 they BETTER have top notch sound.![]()
Mono made sense when TV's had one speaker, but once just like surround sound or HD, once you make the switch, there's no going back. Stereo for me.Originally Posted by Slade
I have no idea. I think I have mine on Stereo, despite my tv only having one speaker, but when I do some video capture, I only get sound out of one speaker (usually the left, sometimes the right though) so I might have it on mono![]()
i have a 14in. tv and a 38in. tv adjacent from each other so i switch to stereo for the 38in. and mono for the 14in. but i use the 14in. for games most of the time so i voted mono.
