Actually, that's what his case has always been. That mods were against copyright laws and that if EA won't force modders to stop making them that EA should be responcible for the mods themselves. The sex is the best thing in the Sims cause its so damm funny. Its not like you actually see anything, just them jump under the sheets and the bed starts to rock. Its not as if they show their private pixel areas. Im surprised this has been taken to court and not the Singles PC series in which you do get down and funky.
Well the version of the sims 2 sold in Britain has a rating of 7+, the expansion packs have a rating of 12+ and my sister couldn't buy them cos she looked too young (she's 12). My 8/9 year old brother plays it with no problems. I have seen worse on the front pages of national newspapers which are on the bottom shelf.

I actually heard on a radio interview with Jack Thompson about what's wrong with The Sims. EA are conspiring with the pornography industry to create these perverted hacks. The proof? EA doesn't sue porno modders for breaking the lisence agreement.
Reguardless of the fact that if they did that they'd probably lose for not sueing any other modders who are just as guilty as the porn, or have to shut down every mod site, pretty much ruining their smurfing game.

It's not even just in the game, it's our society as well. It's stupid, but, it's incredibly common for men to walk around shirtless, right? As their nipples arent considered sexual, it isnt offensive or considered hard-core nudity. But for girls to walk around with their shirts off, it's illegal. Not to mention the long line of men who would be following her.

Who do you mean? I don't think it's the game; it's the principal of the thing. Jack Thompson is trying to control people's lives in these stupid ways, and we're not going to let him. Even if that means we have to drown him in a collective pool of our urine.

There were a lot of downloadable child pornography for Sims1 like that one scene you could get for SA. I have both games but I haven't played sims 2 yet. i got it the month it came out too.
