Star Ocean: Second Story

I'm part way into disk 2 and I'm thinkin about stopping to go play ff7 for the millionth time. Anyone played this?? I loved the first star ocean, but the story is goin a bit slow for me on this one...does it pick up?? If anything discuss the game

Second story is the only game I really like in the Star Ocean series, It really is a great game, people who love ST3 obviously havent played Second story.....

I prefer this one to the third installment. Its by far more superior and to me, so much more fun. The music makes me melt and its just lush! I picked up my copy for £3 at a carboot 6 years ago! Cheap.

I tried playing Star Ocean 2 .I was barrowing it off of a friend and I got like a hour into and it was scratched. Oh though what I saw I liked.
