I pronounce Tidus (tie-dus) but my friend pronounces it (tee-dus) which is the more correct one do you think?

I say tie-dus but I heard somewhere that it is officially tee-dus

In Kingdom Hearts, Wakka pronounces it tee-dus, but I still go with Tie-dus for memory's sake.

some how tee-dus just sounds stupid. On the FFX bonus DVD James Arnold Taylor (voice over for Tidus) says tee-dus.
But if it was tie-dus wouldnt it be spelt tydus?

Before the game came out I read on a magazine that Tidu's name was pronouced "tee-dus" so that's how I said it from the first day I bought the game, and I"m PROUD!:mario:

Yes there was. And im gonna say the same thing I said on that thread. It doesn't matter whether you say it like ti-dus or tee-dus. Just say what sounds best to you. What I call him is probally to inappropriate to show though.

Not this again, its been done. There isnt a right or wrong way to pronuce it, its the way people say it, people say it differently.
