Ramza is the epitome of a noble hero. (SPOILER)He fights against the machinations of his brothers and his former best friend, all the while trying to protect people. In a time of war he is the only real clear head in the entire incident, while everybody else is making a grab for power. he also uncovers the plots to use ancient magic to grant demonic power, and rids the world of each and every "zodiac brave" before they can cause too much problems. He doesn't fight for a reward, indeed he is forgotten by history entirely. He fights because he doesn't want people to suffer, and because he knows that it is the right thing to do.
