Kuja was considered defective because he had a mind of his own. Garland created Zidane to replace him. Kuja wasn't to happy about this, so he dumped Zidane on Gaia. And, yes, Kuja was created with a short lifespan, thus his decision to destroy existance. What can I say? He snapped.

now im mixed up over who was first, zidane or kuja. i was thinking zidane was but it does make sense if kuja was. but then why call kuja "zidane 2.0" if its more like zidane is "kuja 2.o"? am i right?

and isn't it true to say that Garland sucks at making people for destroying planets since both kuja and zidane pretty much failed at that goal. (i just realized garland is like, the same name of that FFI boss)

Mikoto doesn't have a backstory, per se, but she explains to Zidane who he is and what he exists for.

Kuja was first. Zidane was second. Kuja got angry when he found out Zidane was more powerful than he, so he put him on Gaia so he'd be out of the way. Little did he know what was to come...

Yup everything some people said is true like Zidane is Kuja 2.0 and all the stuff about everything else. But what I don't understand is why did Zidane forget all that, did Kuja erase his memory?
