What's up with the first post? I read it like a bazillion times, and I still don't get it...Is it a trick question? *Is confused* Pfffft, my brain doesn't work this late on weekends.
It would seem to be a stab at the intelligence of FFX-2 fans.
The idea is that those who read the first post will automatically get the fact that the author is taking the piss and not post, while those who don’t will think this is a legitimate thread and actually give a serious reply. I guess the purpose would be to prove that FFX-2 fans are so gun-ho about stating their opinions of their favorite character’s physical attributes that they only pick up on the words ‘hottest’ and ‘FFX-2’ in the title and don’t actually bother to read the thread.
This would have been kind of clever, if the topic poster hadn’t worded his original post so deplorably that no one knew what the hell he was talking about, thus even people who did read the first post simply ignored it and gave a serious reply anyway.
Or something like that.

Atleast now I see why EoFF is such a hatred place against FFX-2, its because of these types of threads "zomg yuna is hot, but I think rikku has teh nice butt, but omg paine is goth!! what do you guys think?!" and there is rarely actually serious discussion about the game itself.
and yes nik, I read the first post, I'm not critisizing this thread, but the other "who's hotter" threads.
I think the biggest tip that it's a joke thread is that there are no gramatic errors.

okay, i read the first post. i know nik0tine from the ffviii board...and that challenge and whatnot, it suprised me to see him post such a topic, but then i read the post and was let down because i wanted to come in here and yell "FAN SERVICE FAN SERVICE FAN SERVICE"

To tell you the truth I didn't think this was going to work. But it did and I couldn't have expected more out of this.
It can't possibly have been that clear if people are posting claiming that they read the original post and didn't understand it.
I must have missed those posts, then. Everybody that I know understood what I meant right away. I just read it again and it seems pretty clear to me.
I don't think it matters though, since the posts in this thread so far have been funny and that's what I was after.
