Um...I guess you mean "Dark Matter"?
Dark Matter is a very, very, very, very, very rare steal from Zeromus' first form. (i.e., before Cecil uses the crystal and he looks like a blue spaghetti.) It also doesn't help that stealing is hopeless in this game anyway.
At any rate, It's supposed to recuce the damage of Zeromus' Big Bang attack. I did happen to steal it once, but I didn't really notice any significant damage increase. Or maybe it was just because I was using the J2e rom? Meh.
