Yuna is on a journey to beat sin, in order to beat sin, summoner must completed the pilgrimage and obtained the final aeons which when call will kill the summoner itself.
Lulu and Wakka stopped Yuna when she want to become a summoner but Yuna keeps going, Kimahri stay quiet but deep in his heart, he objected it. Tidus and Rikku don't know Yuna much and also don't want Yuna to die, they also think a way to saves Yuna on their journey.
Auron is hell, I only wish Yuna send him early to the Farplane. Go to Hell, Auron. Auron keep talking about Yuna's pilgrimage, that's why it makes sense that Auron want to kill Yuna.
