dude, the monk is better with no weapon equipped, in fact, he's typically the best physical attacker in the game.... get your facts straight.

also, i know your a noob but dont tell other members to shut up. monks can easily do as much damage as fighters can and often more if they use their bare hands instead of nunchucks. they are cheaper than fighters and barely need any expensive armour so there good if you plan to speed through the game. i dont tend to use them but they are far from useless.

Monks do a lot more damage than a Thief and Warrior. They don't need weapons at all.

Dude, Monks rock. The reason they stink is because at first, they're at level 1. They don't do much damage unarmed. Let me describe it for you

Attack Power unarmed= 2 multiplied by his current level.
Defensive Power without Armor= current level

So you see, when he hits Level 50, he'll have an attack power of 100, and will be doing over 10 hits. He IS a killing machine.

The only armor he needs is a protect ring and a ribbon.

Ok i get it that most of you like monks and that you prefer them however i didnt know that they were good unarmed in the game (i know what i monk is I don't need people telling me). Oh and sorry for telling "The Devourer of Worlds" to "shuddup" I din't mean to do anything wrong.
