    Cradle of Filth are TRASH. T R A S H!

    They are not a "Goth" band, rather "Gothic metal" but ... since you are obviously a n00b to metal I wouldn't expect you to know that.

    These are goth bands.

    I wouldn't consider Cradle of Filth to be a particularly bad band, though I personally am not a big fan myself. They're written some decent, listenable songs in their time, and they're certainly better than some bands I could care to mention...

    ok for one i know you are intitled to your own opinion but im not a nOOb to metal ive been listening to cradle since i was like 6
