I saw this thread and started laughing.
I have had this misfortune of seeing them in concert(opening band for Coal Chamber) and I thought they sucked...but not because I didn't like their music. I just think their whole act is laughable.
And the lead singer looked like a Sandman from Star Wars.

Slipknot is pretty awful except for Vermilion Pt 1, which is one of the most beautiful songs ever, in my opinion.
I've seen their acts before...and dear god. You realize that about 3 of the guys don't actaully do anything. I just saw them jump onto a trash can and beat it with a stick...WTF!? Also, the singing sounds like someone has grabbed a frog, shoved it down the lead singers mouth, and he's desperately trying to cough it up.

I used to love Slipknot when I was 12 or 13. Pretty much says it all, doesn't it?

They have some good songs like Wait n Bleed
Wait and Bleed is the only song i like from them, for the rest: the whole band/anonymous/mask thing: a smurfing gimmick that annoyed me like hell.But they do have a great guitarist, a good drummer, and i like the voice of Corey Taylor
