burning, definitely burning. Drowning is slow, and you are awake for a lot of it. One of the scariest ways to die, IMHO, is by drowning/suffocating, because it happens slowly, and you can feel yourself dying.

It doesn't really matter, a burning building is a burning building.

I'd choose drowning because there's a greater chance you could find a way out than in a burning building with all the supports collapsing and such. Also you wouldn't be on fire.

I'd rather drown. Even though that's one of my biggest fears, I think it might be a little bit better than being on fire for who knows how long. That sounds more painful.

ummm I would rather drown because if someone happened to save you in a fire or from drowning then you have a better chance of living without injury after drowning then being caught on fire!

You're not going to survive. This is a thread about how you would rather die. sheesh.

Anyway, both of these ways to die is by suffocating. The lack of oxygen in the burning house will probably kill you, or at least make you unconscious, before you burn all that much. I believe this to be less painfull way. Drowning is just mean.

If i was in a burning building, i would much rather run into direct flames and burn than be suffocated by lack of oxygen or smoke. Not being able to breath is worse for me than my skin melting away......though i don't fancy that much either o_0
