Im just gonna say the FFVII soundtrack, every tune on that is high up on a podium which is at least a kilometre higher than the other games.

I absolutely love the entire FFVIII soundtrack, but just to name a few, Eyes on Me, Liberi Fatali, Waltz for the Moon, Maybe I'm A Lion, along with Suteki Da Ne from X, and One Winged Angel from VII.

Entire FFVIII soundtrack. "J-E-N-O-V-A" and "Aeris Theme" from VII, "You're Not Alone" from IX, and "Kimi He" and "Yuna's Ballad" from X-2.

"Melodies of Life" from FFIX was a nice one, and Emiko Shiratori has a beautiful voice. "Eyes on Me" from FFVIII was good as well. The opera from FFVI was also really good, and the orchestral rendition (from the "Grand Finale" CD) of Aria de Mezzo Caraterre was quite beautiful. The Orchestral Game Concert version was nice as well. Actually, the entire FFVI soundtrack was great.
I can't think of anything witty to put here. I've always had trouble with these signature things. :mog:
the whole gosh dang FFVII soundtrack is the best music i've ever heard! (well, gamewise)
Most of the FFIII songs are extremely good. Especially Eternal Wind, the Crystal Cave music, the Dark World, Nepto's Shrine music, Boss Music, Hyne's Castle Music, and both of the airship musics.
I can't wait for the DS Version to come out just because I want to see how much more better they make those songs.
I believe that FFIX has the best soundtrack of any FF game. Notables include Immoral Melody, Kuja's Theme, You're Not Alone, and Freya's Theme. The original Vamo' alla Flamenco was good, but the version by the Black Mages was amazing. The piano version of it is awesome as well.
Speaking of the Black Mages, their versions of J-E-N-O-V-A, Matoya's Cave, Man With the Machine Gun, and Maybe I'm a Lion are wicked as well.
Into the Darkness from FFIV (only the Celtic Moon version) has a special place in my heart. Prelude Crystal Mix from the FFIV Minimal Album is fun too.
Piano and orchestrated versions of Blue Fields from FFVIII are really nice. I love the orchestrated version of Man With the Machine Gun as well.
Au Palais de Verre (FFI Matoya's Cave) from the CVC album Pray is a good song, too.
The orchestrated version of Mystery Train from FFVI is absolutely amazing.
Suteki Da Ne is a pretty good song, but I like Pure Heart Aerith's Theme from the Suteki Da Ne singles album more.
There's more. I'll go through my collection and maybe post up a couple more than come to mind.
