Favourite FF8 Music?

Whats your favourite ff8 music and why?

I like the boss battle music(i can play it on keyboard ) and the landing.

Has anyone heard of the band created by Nobu umetzo?(spelling)

They are called the black mages and because they are created by Nobu umetzo they play all the final fantasy tracks. i have some on my pc.


it would be cool if they wore black mage costumes on stage....

Roses and Wine, the piano version of Blue Fields, and The Extreme.
I like Roses&Wine and Blue Fields because its so soft and pretty, and the Extreme just because its awesome

the black mages are a great band. their version of the FF6 boss battle tune is brilliant. FF8 didnt have that many great tunes but the one played when fighting the second last boss "maybe im a lion." is great. the normal boss themes good and i like eyes on me.

The Black Mages are really a great band. I have both disc, my favorite song of them are Maybe I'm a Lion and The Skies Above.

I probably wouldn't be lying if I said I liked the entire soundtrack

"Force Your Way"
"Hunter's Chance" (I know that was in this game...right? When NORG tries taking over Garden?)
"Premonition" (sp?)
All the final battle themes, especially "Maybe I'm a Lion" and "The Extreme"
"Roses and Wine"
"Eyes on Me"

...I'm going to make a huge list, so I'll stop now. This game had one of the best soundtracks to an FF game, IMO

FF8 had some great music. My favorites would be
Man with a machine gun, the boss battle music, The Landing, and Ultemicia's Castle.

I don't really like the original version of the Time Compression music, but on OC Remix, there is an amazing remix of the time compression and i LOVE it. http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01349/

'Compression of Time'. It's such a haunting song, especially accompanied by the outside of Ultimecia's castle with all those dead SeeDs and such. I get chills listening to that one.

Liberi Fatali, Ultimecia's Castle, Eyes on Me, and the best FF tune ever...........WALTZ FOR THE MOON.

FF8 had really great tracks that stood out and set a great tone, but some were really...really, really bland..like the battle theme, and the world map theme.
