Why every video game fanboy with brown hair thinks he looks like Squall (who is really supermodel material) is beyond me! There really should be a law stating that if you're going to cosplay a hot and slim character, you should atleast be.... hot and slim. Well, slim, anyway.

Trying to find a decent-looking Squall cosplayer is like wading through a cesspool in search of a diamond, but, miracle of miracles, after much searching, I finally found a couple that aren't half bad. So, to help relieve your bleeding eyes:
He is MAJOR GORGEOUS for a male cosplayer, IMO. (Though not even close to Squall, of course.)

P.S. I know it's cheap of me to keep taking potshots at cosplayers, but they're such easy targets.... And they deserve it! For their crimes against manga, anime and games. *snigger*

I know what you mean, but I find that it is mostly caucasian cosplayers that make a mockery of it. You can never really find any good white cosplayers. I guess we are just too damn lazy to get some awesome costumes or something like that.

But yeah, I don't think anything can beat the 'please pour acid into my eyes!!' factor of the Kuja one. That second Squall one is actually really nice. Too bad there's no Rinoa to go with him. The Rinoa in the first picture isn't so bad, IMO.

I'd dress up as Squall too, but someone would probably take pictures & post them on the net,
then make links here & I might get abuse like the first Squall wannabe.
But I'd do a better job than him.
Think I'll stick with Cloud first.

I've attached a picture of another Squall cosplayer who shouldn't have even bothered. These people do realise that Squall is 17, right? The amount of middle-aged Squall wannabees is truly horrifying.

Also, here's some evidence of a disturbing trend among the cosplay community: (overweight) female Squall cosplayers. Just.... wrong, on so many levels.

What usually makes cosplayers look ridiculous is
that their costumes look like they are made out of paper. They cant ever seem to get any that look good. I would think Squall's would be easy, considering it is just a leather coat and gloves, and regular black pants and white shirt. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
