Oh please, like they're actually not going to make a KH3. At the very least it would be a bad business move, look how much it's sold, and it hasn't even made worldwide sales yet. And the secret movie, how much more confirmation do you need? Unless something happens with the staff or whatnot, KH3 is in the future plans of Square-Enix. No, the team isn't going to start working on it for a while, but I assure you it's in the plans. No, they haven't confirmed it, but they've done everything but confirm it. Nomura: As of now, my team and I aren't fully focused on a sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2 for the next generation of gaming, but there will definitely be one. We're currently working on another project that will also take a long time. However, you can expect something Kingdom Hearts related to show itself during the middle of PS3's life. When that is, I don't even really know. (laughs)
So, I'd say that it's at least in the plans, and I believe Nomura could be considered a Square official or what not. And if it does as well as Kingdom Hearts (and it looks like it's going to do better), I have no doubt it will stay in the plans.

Kingdom Hearts is turning out to be a good money-maker for Square Enix, so it's silly to think they'd never make another. But confirmed already? No way. Just another off-base Internet rumor.

Anyway, Kingdom Hearts has been decided as one of the three 'pillars' of SE, along with Final Fantasy... and I believe Dragon Quest. 2 will not be the last one.
