I think the main characters from Skies of Arcadia are outlandish, such as Vyse, Aika, Fina, and Enrique, all of them are either teenagers or very young adults, yet they (SPOILER) sail around the world, go to a moon, kill a crapload of monsters that possess odd abilities, and kill giant machines capable of destroying the world (The Gigas).
