9/10. It's simply amazing - but it does lack some essential things... And Mandinka, some of the FFX music I've heard is the best out of all FFs!The story's not too bad either; could be worse.

I loved it, as with all the other final fantasies i've played.
"Reflect on your..." "Childhood..." "Your sensation..." "Your words..." "Your emotions..."
9/10
Story...rated second best after FFVIII.
Music...these are what makes the game better.
Graphics...nothing short of a breakthrough.
Ending...well, i wasn't a fan of it.
Replay...i think one run is good enough.
7.5/10. There was too much hype surronding it and the fact that I couldnt go off the map to explore the areas did annoy me, the fact I had to stick to a path.

My first FF, first rpg, and the first game that ever sucked me in and made me lose sleep wondering how it would end. It will always have a special place in my heart.

I give it a 6.8/10. I'm sorry, but it just was not too good compared to most FF games. I wanted to punch most of the characters (Except Auron. He was the only redeeming character, and Kimahri provided a laugh when (SPOILER)you found out that he was watching Tidus and Yuna get it on in the lake. For some reason that incident just made my day.), and Seymour was probably the worst villain in FF history. The American voice acting was also atrocious, and that's what probably detracted so much from my liking of the characters. The story was a bit predictable at times, but I do admit that the concept of summoning and taking a journey was fairly interesting. There wasn't any world map, which is kind of lame. The graphics were amazing, but that didn't make up for the stuff I didn't like. The spheregrid system was confusing and annoying at first, until I figured it out like halfway through the game (I picked up the game once every couple months or so until I got to the Calm Lands... then I beat it). I missed the good 'ole experience points.
I can't think of anything witty to put here. I've always had trouble with these signature things. :mog:
