MSPaint is the only way to go.
Ok, now where can I go to get some good sprites, and how can I make my own sprites?
Edit: Were are some good sprites for Illusions of Gaia and Mega man X?

Try searching for images on Yahoo and Google. That's where I find most of the images and sprites when I need them.
I did, but I keep getting the things with pages of sprites, and I'm not sure how to take out those sprites and use them singly, how would I go about doing that? then I could get all my sprites easy. I need Zero and Freedan mainly.

I would suggest you learn the GIMP www.gimp.org
High learning curve, but such a powerful tool.
Paint sucks.
Even though paint is intertaining, I'll try this Gimp you speak of. Still need help on the backround finding thing though.

Not really what I'm looking for, but THnx. Things like SNES backrounds like in Magaman, or battle backrounds from the FF's withought the sprites or textboxes. Thing slike that are wha i'm looking for, and if they are on that sight I can't find them.
'megaman screen shots' might help.
