He's a FFVIII Fanboy, of course He can't stand it if anything loses to FFVIII.

I'm actually surprised not even one person has voted for the original Final Fantasy. I think that's pretty surprising.

Look at the person's profile. It's a fangirl. But you're right the fangirls/boys are everyone around here. Especially the ones I will eat for lunch...*cough* x-2 & 8 *cough*. I'm not suprised that no one has voted for Final Fantasy that's just the way it is?

EDIT: FF9 is overrated as well and if people are saying how great it is they're complaining about how bad it is which it isn't nearly as bad as X-2. *cringe*

I just still don't understand why FF fans would dislike FFIX. They pretty much crammed everything that defines "Final Fantasy" into one game. I think that it would get a little bit more reception.

I for one, don't think these games are overrated at all. Most people would hate them just because of annoying obsessive fanpersons, at all. These are all great games, it's a shame people have to nag all the time...

But anyway, I was only complaining about the people who go "this is my favorite, every other one sucks". Which is all I get from that sentence.

Zidane: But Zeromus_X is wrong about FFIX being overrated, it's underrated, anyway, it was bound to happen FFVII has the lead by one vote, FFVII is alright, but I could have done a better job with how the conversations were written, and some of the characters deeply annoyed me.

Well, I mean a fanperson who's only played that game, and hasn't played all the others. Or thinks that that game is so superior, that no other game is better than it. But it really doesn't matter

Of course, if anyone says anything bad about FFIII...

It's what I expect from FF VII fanboys

I just find it really funny. I like every FF. I don't bitch about little plot points ("I'm confused!"), or complain about the characters ("The characters suck!"), or complain about anything else. That's all I see other people do, I think if people didn't do that and try to see the positive side of a game, they may like it a bit better, instead of making alot of reasons to hate it.

Meh. It's not going to happen...

But because I love them all so much, I can never decide on a favorite. It's pretty annoying. I like FFIV and VI because those were the first I played, then I'll play through another FF again and think it's my favorite. Etc, etc. It's pretty irritating. Does anyone else do this, or does everyone else have a definite favorite?

Zidane: Yeah, I've seen too many FFIX hate threads in my day. I could so easily post a hate thread for FFVII and give intelligent reasons it's hard to argue with but I won't. All FFs have good points and all FFs have bad points, that includes FFIX.
