We're all assuming that the next CK is going to be someone who isn't on staff already. Perhaps the next Cid's Knight will be a demotion rather than a promotion. We have way too many admins anyway.
So, new question: Out of the existing admins, which would you most like to see busted down to CK?

I'm pretty sure I know who the next CK will be. But I've not been around as much during the past week or two so maybe things have changed dramatically since we last had such conversations!

I think he should have been made a CK for like a day, and then made Admin just to follow the natural order of things. So yeah, demote Samuraid.
Also, I still think it'd be really great to CK someone from the gaming forums who the rest of the forum doesn't really know about. Yes. Do that.
The bigger question on my mind is when will it happen? After the Ciddies?

We need to make sure they at least post in the other forums often enough to know how they would be when dealing with threads in GC etc, so it's not very likely that we'll Knight someone who never posts outside of gaming forums. But some people we've had suggested in the past are definitely not well known to the General Forums posters.

I certainly don't take a screenshot of every post I make and photoshop it to look like I have a CK title, and quite where those rumours came from that I got a tattoo saying "STAFF ARE #1!" came from I don't know. And I absolutely do not have fantasies about what it would be like to be best pals with Del Murder and Necrooctopus, swooping through the forums and striking down spammers with sheer courage, proud in the knowledge that we have kept the forums safe for another day, and I don't know why you think that I do!Silly Psy.
