I find it kinda surprising Yuna was eliminated, not that i'm complaining (she is one of my least favorite characters in the entire game, but she seems to have a big fan base).

Not necessarily. I mean, if the Rikku and Lulu fans join forces and vote for whoever wasn't eliminated, besides Auron, then Auron will most likely lose. Though, I'm sure that won't happen.
Auron is by far the best character in that game.
