Sure I'm a guy but I'll give my opinion on who's the coolest just cuz I can >:]
I feel really bad for what happens to Tidus even though he may whine a bit. He's still an awesome character and treats Yuna right ^_^
I also liked Squall's character development throughout FFVIII. I felt that he became an awesome person by the end (and got a cool girl).
One also can't forget Locke from FFVI. He went through a lot in his lifetime and I can't help but feel really sorry for what happened in his life T_T I'm glad he's still the character he is though and he didn't give up when it mattered most *nods*
