I think it's worth getting the super-chocographs because then you get awesome weapons. Yummy.

Its one of the better mini-games Square has made for a FF game. Much better than Chocobo breeding in VII and a hell of a lot better than whatever you did with chocobos in VIII. That was pretty confusing.
I think it was entertaining, though in some parts it did become very time consuming, like some of the digs and travel between Chocobo Reef (when it had only River capabilities) and whatever airship was available at the time.
I thought it was fun, but tedious. I just wanted to fight Ozma then and there, not do all this treasure crap. Ah well, at least I get some nice items.![]()

Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Its enjoyable, I enjoyed looking for the treasure more instead of finding the chocographs. Digging up Chocographs got a bit tedious.
it's was addictive and sorta fun, and easy enough if you are willing to dedicate some time to it.
