How do I get final attack? Is it materia?
Win the special battle in gold saucer.
How do I get to it?
Win the battle arena a few times then the hostess will challenge you to the specail arena fight if you complete it you will get final atack materia
Buy Omnislash and W-Summon Materia at battle arena with your BP and talk to the hostess for special battle. Win all 8 battle and receives Final Attack Materia. If you doesn't sure, which battle you fight to get the materia, make sure you fight Proud Clod at the last battle?
I usually use KOTR and Omnislash to beat Proud Clod.

I've gotten Omnislash and I've beaten Ultima Weapon. I guess this won't be too hard. What does Final Attack Materia do?
It activates the paired materia when the character is KO'd. It works with all Magic materia, all Summon materia and Command materia (Steal, Sense, Throw, Morph, Deathblow, Manipulate, Mime, Master Command only). You need to have enough MP to use the Magic/Summon, otherwise nothing will happen.
Pairing Final Attack with Phoenix is a common choice for most people.

all of these requirements must be met...
Cloud must have Ultima Weapon
You Have to Buy W-Summon
You have to buy Omnislash
You have to teach cloud Omnislash
Talk to the girl behind the counter and she says that your good but doenst know how you would do in a battle with only the best so she lets you fight 7 nooby fights and a nooby boss (proud clod)... have fun by the time you get this you dont need it neway
I'd go with Final Attack=Revive, since Revive doesn't take as long to master. Meh.
phoenix doesnt need to be mastered... just final attack
Yeah, but Phoenix will stop appearing if it's not mastered
but phoenix hits all members and dmgs the enemy... if you get whiped out phoenix will bring back your whole party so you only need 1 mastered phoenix/ FA
if you get whiped out and you have 1 mastered rev/ FA you will have to cast phoenix to get back your other 2 chars anyway... or cast 2 revives or revive all or use 2 phoenix downs
