Minor things that piss you off/you fear during gameplay.

I was playing for the very first time, I did'nt really understand lots of things. (I was quite young about 10 years old.) I had blundered through untill I was on the train just before fighting the fake president I decided to use the magic lamp...........and so Diablos comes out ....Result= 1 new GF and 1 nearly dead party. With no healing items or magic and about 10hp left on each character, I restarted my game later finding out you can kill gerogero with a X-potion or another healing item!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good job I was'nt far into the game!

I LOVED Jumbo Cactuar!!! That's one of my favorite FF boss fights!

Plus you get to see the funniest Renzokuken performed by Squall!

As for cactuars running away, I noticed that a high Luck stat helps a lot. I decided once to use a cheat and make Squall's luck all the way up to 255 and that's all I noticed really.

Well,this I dont' really know cause I don't really know the purpose of Luck junctioning.

Something that pisses me off durring gameplay... well lets talk about Odin...

Well, when I'm fighting a monster, how come when the monster only has a little HP left, Odin decides to come??? Hmm??? Or he comes when there is a really easy one???

Huh?Do you mean Gilgamesh the four armed god?Because Odin only appears at the beginning of the battle to grant you instant victory.

XD yeah the renzozuken was pretty funny. Or anything that would toss him in the air really.


Once I ran into a single bite bug in balamb, just the one bug, and Odin came. I also wanted to mug an enoyle and then Odin killed it :O

Once I spent my entire spring break playing FFVIII through the first time. I got to the end of disc two and got a little stuck, so I went through a new game because I wanted to see something and I overwrote my old one. I was very angry, and proceded through with my new game, then later my little brother wanted to play. Instead of taking my memory card out and replacing it with his, he just stuck his in slot 2, but I didn't realize it. I saved the game for him because he had to take out the trash...and over wrote my game. Ever since then I save several files when playing long RPGs. (I should add that I didn't quite get the junction thing down until the third file.)

lol i once did the same thing with VII and for that reason alone i dont let anyone play my new game untill iv completed it

The very most annoying thing is when u save somewhere and u get involved and interested in the game. All of a sudden Uber boss splits the gates of hell from beneath u and u die, thinking o darn o well. Then: File -- Memory Card Slot 1 -- Reading -- Crap! i havent saved the game recently!

The little sequence you get every time you choose to use a GF. Nice to look at, maybe the first and second time, tremendously tedious when you get to the hundreth time of viewing.

omega weopon and bahumut didnt bother me that much, it was those darn ruby dragons that freakin ambush you then use breath... uhhhhhh.

For other perfectionists (like me) trying to beat the entire game collecting EVERYTHING.................one of the hardest things was getting some of the cards........
UFO card, Chocobo card......and completing the Card Queen's Quest

Cid annoyed me. Also, when your junctions are taken off you. The ruby dragon in the Laguna dream sequence isn't so easy when all Kiros can do is attack. Now I check before major events.

High luck junction increases the chances of a cirtical strike.

At 255, you always do critical damage.

But Squall is the only one you still have to use his trigger. (Annoys me)

Seifer is way too easy to beat. (Make him the more challenging)

Ultimecia's too easy. (Make her more challenging)

...

Make all enemies more challenging.

Make Ruby Dragons Breath Stronger, they don't hit hard enought. (I'm totally serious.)

And that damn Bad Breath, couldn't they add 100& Death Strike in it too, instead of waiting 4h for your party to perish? (That makes it more interesting...)

Apart from everything being more challenging, I don't see anything wrong or bothered me, except Seifer, could have been MUCH MUCH More harder!

I agree. Seifer was far too easy.

Also if you've been junctioning correctly and have an idea what to do, Bahumat is easy to beat as well as Ultima Weapon.

I've never attempted Omega so I can't comment. Nothing in this game reeaaaalllly pisses me off other than that incredibly slow walk.
